What is the 411 about Daniel:
I grew up in Jersey City, NJ. Went to school at Saint Peter's Prep and then Stevens Institute of Technology. I am now an independent contractor and work in politics for Field Strategies.
How did you guys first meet? Who, what, when, where, why? Give us the dirty Details.
We first met in high school because of friends, but we officially got to know each other when we both worked for the Mayor's campaign in Hoboken, NJ, and always remained friends throughout high school, college, and thereafter.
When did you both know he was the one? Was there something he did? Etc.
We were nothing more than just friends, but there was always something about him. I didn't think more into it because we both were in different relationships at the time. I think we both needed to mature and go through life separately to then come together. After college, he looked different and not so boyish anymore. He grew into this man with direction, intelligence (which I'm a sucker for) and charm. He makes me happy and makes me laugh so much even on the worst days, and that's exactly how I want to spend the rest of my life.
How did he propose? (Did you see it coming? How long was it in the planning? How did you feel? Nervous, excited, freaking out?)
After almost 5 years of being together, we knew we both wanted to take the next step. But always said it was cliche to propose on valentines day so I never expected it on that day. Plus the week before, my cousin & a best friend had both gotten engaged on the same day. We had actually both been sick that entire week and took care of ourselves.
It was February 13th, the day before Valentines, and he said we should do something to celebrate and get out of the house, and that he had a few things planned. We took a cab ride to the fancy Ritz-Carlton in front of Central Park. When we arrived, they said the room wasn't ready and for us to have a cocktail while we waited. As we had drinks, we were enjoying our time, and while we were still a little sick, we'd laugh so hard we'd start coughing at the same time, and then we'd laugh even more. Once the room was ready, they had a guest service take us to our room which I found odd. When he opened the door, there was a hallway into the room with rose petals and classical music playing. As I walked in further, there were petals on the bed in the shape of a heart, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. I thought to myself, this is probably what the hotel does for Valentine's day and how romantic it was, and while I was still observing everything, Daniel came up behind me, and I saw a red little heart-shaped box in his hand. I couldn't believe it! I said Daniel are you serious?! I was in disbelief and couldn't hold back the tears. As he got down on one knee, he said, "I know you've been waiting for this forever, but how about spending forever with me." I then, of course, said yes! We hugged and kissed and gave me his great-grandmother's ring which we both loved very much but had just passed away. It meant everything to me. We then went to our favorite live band place Cafe Wha and danced to our favorite songs.
What inspired your decor or theme?
I wanted an earthy vibe but still glamorous.

The Tides Estates in North Haledon, New Jersey Hosts a Special Day
At this past wedding, the food was delicious, the flowers were inspiring, and the DJ kept the guests entertained for the entire night. It was a classic wedding with all of the traditional wedding activities and traditions. The bride and groom tied the knot in front of friends and family in a beautiful ceremony that symbolized the love that they share.
The couple shared their first dance. The speeches contained a right mix of lighthearted fun and touching moments about their connections to the bride and groom and the love that they share.
Dinner was a gourmet delight but the real star of the day was the delicious cake. The baker outdid themselves by creating a treat that not only looked remarkable but tasted as good as it looked. If you have been to many weddings, you probably know that this is not always the case. After dinner was served, the real party began as the dance floor was occupied by the guests.
